This evening, we were watching a movie on TV. There was a scene where the man started to cry as he remembered how he lost the people he loved.. And by the end of the scene you were crying too. And I love you even more for that.

I love you for growing up (so quickly!) and being mature enough to understand what was going on around you. I love you for your empathy as you were sad when the man was sad. I love you for being innocent enough to cry openly. I love you for all the times you might cry as you grow up. I love you for when I cannot say or do the right thing to stop your heartbreak. I love you for astounding me as you grow up; for beautiful moments like today that stay.
