2010 FIFA World Cup: A new fan emerges

This is in memory of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. A month where I watched entire soccer games, strained my jaws blowing the vuvuzela, felt my heart ache when 2 goals were scored against South Africa thus eliminating us from the tournament and was proudly African for Baghana Baghana.

It was also a month where I spent many happy hours searching for the hottest players in the game. With no further ado, presenting my 2010 FIFA World Cup Hotties, in ascending order:

Nikita Rukavytsya, Australia
Eyes - tick. Exotic Foreigner - tick, from Ukraine. Looks yummy in sports, casual and suited up - tick. Definitely a reason to support Australia.

Roque Santa Cruz, Paraguay
We were first introduced through the pic of him about to strip. More searches revealed that he looks just as delectable on the field and in designer wear.



Yoann Gourcuff, France
In the light, in the dark and even in black and white, his eyes.. oh his eyes!



Iker Casillas, Spain
I dont know if its the scruffy beard, the Orlando Bloom look alikeness or those big safe hands..



Diego Forlan, Uruguay
