My A to Z of Cape Town

A is for Alavaladhi Ashram - where it all began

B is for Beluga - half price sushi and cocktails

C is for Caaaaaaamps Bay.. cos thats where the chicks are..

D is for drive by McDonalds in Green Point and Rondebosch after a big night out

E is for Edward Street

F is for foreigners. Not just during World Cup season

G is for Guetta. My second live concert and where M bullied me twice in 1 night (thanks for both instances)

H is for Hout Bay and the winding roads that took me there late at night

I is for I. Everything I was.

J is for Julep and Jade - my two fav night spots

K is for Knysna. What an awesome roadtrip!

L is for Long Street. Enough said :)

M is for M. She knows who she is! :)

N is for names. Where he says his name, I hear one name and she hears another name. Happened so many times.

O is for Old Biscuit Mill. I feel so yuppie-like everytime I am there

P is for Pierce Brosnan in a multi coloured jersey outside the Cape Royale Hotel at the start of the World Cup. I think.

Q is for Quay. As in "who is the quay?"

R is for Rambo in Afghanistan. The first Rambo movie I watched, in the company of Maveli and Niju. My Good Gaard.

S is for Skeleton George - where I led them up the waterfall

T is for Table Mountain. The pride and joy of the mother city.

U is for ur amma. NAT

V is for the views in Cape Town - the mountain, the city, the ocean, the hills, the lights, the roads, the sunsets, the sunrises, the people..

W is for winds and remembering the time I had to ask a security guard to hold my hand because I kept being blown over

X is for the xox collections

Y is for Yachets. And the multitude of other words that have been bastardised by the Alavaladhis

Z is for Zakumi. And the month long farewell party in Cape Town.
